 Is
it My Imagination?
In the beginning stages of
learning and experiencing Animal Communication most people ask, as I
did, "Am I making this all of this stuff up in my head when I am
communicating with an animal?" My answer is almost always "no you are
not making it up". Think about it, how often have you "heard" or
understood what your animal is trying to communicate to you? It is not
always a look either that they give you that is conveying the message.
Often times you just have that "knowing" of what they are communicating.
The biggest thing in practicing animal communication is trust. Trusting
that the messages you are receiving are from your animal and not your
imagination. If you interject your thoughts or beliefs while you are
"listening" to an animal then you are in fact getting the message from
yourself.
One of the techniques I use during my animal communication workshop is
one where I ask people to pair up and find out about the other person
and they can not write the information down that is being given. They
will then tell the rest of the class about who that person is. If you
were asked to do this exercise how closely would you pay attention to
that person talking to you? I would think pretty close! How many times
have you been speaking with someone when they mention something and
immediately you are off thinking about how you are going to respond or
even worse you cut them off before they are done speaking. The exercise
gives you an illustration as to how closely we need to listen when
communicating with animals. It really is that simple. As with anything
practice makes perfect. So the best way to practice is to be attentive
when others are talking to us so that when we practice with animals it
really be like second nature.
Our animal companions are waiting for us to "learn their language". In
learning animal communication you can connect to your companion on a
much deeper level than ever thought possible. Give yourself and your pet

and shelters have a "wish list" listed on their websites of items they are
in need of. The shelters, rescues and the animals will greatly appreciate

Transitions
As we reflect back over the past year we found many of our pets transitioning
to the Rainbow Bridge. Each one was and is special in his or her own right but
often times there are those that just take a little bit bigger piece of our
heart than the others. I had the honor of knowing and being with a few of these
amazing creatures before they transitioned home. I will remember each one of
them in a special Candle Lighting Ceremony at the end of the year. This is not a
religious ceremony as it is a spiritual one honoring our companions who have
passed. If you would like your pets name added to the list please email me with
their name and kind of animal they were (dog, cat, horse, rabbit, etc.) and I
will be happy to include their name among those who helped to make our lives a
little more brighter each and everyday that we had them with us.
 The
Craziness of the Holidays!
I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and everyone of you a very
happy holiday season! This year was a unique year in all that has happened
around politics, the housing crisis and the virtual collapse of the financial
markets. This is not something that has been limited to affecting just us
humans. It has also had a profound affect on our animal companions also. Don't
forget they live with us and live in our energy each and everyday. If we are
stressed out by the days events and bring that home with us often times our
animals are the indirect recipients. They do not have the "shut off" buttons
that we do when bombarded by stress. So if you find your pet "acting out" lately
check how your energy has been and make the necessary adjustment to your
attitude and you will see a positive change with your pet.
